a beginner’s entrypoint to meditative practice. Sally confesses: “I’m too much of a monkey-mind to sit still to meditate. For me, meditation takes the form of repetitive rhythmic motion: lap swimming, cross country skiing, and drawing.” ZenTangle uses a pen and paper, but the result is not a piece of artwork; the result is an ability to be with oneself in the moment, getting lost in the rhythmic repetition of simple lines and shapes into repeating patterns. ZenTangle teaches us that “anything is possible, one stroke of the pen at a time.”
